An indigenous draught breed of north Bihar, named after the Bachaur region of Sitamarhi. It is closely related to Hariana and is prized locally for tireless bullocks.

- Colour: grey to white; darker grey over the fore and hindquarters in males
- Compact, medium body with strong, well set legs
- Short horns emerging from the sides of the poll
